JobDetails: Tiny Prints is looking for poetry and other short verses to be included in greeting card designs. Please keep the following guidelines in mind when composing original verses for submission.
Tone and Style
In particular, we are looking for verses that are warm, friendly and sincere, reflecting personal experience and your own thoughts on special occasions and the relationships that matter most. We will only print verses that we find refreshing and unique, so we recommend steering clear of clichés. The primary focus for this project will be on contemporary verses that reflect common sentiments in a creative new way.
The verses we collect will be geared toward cards for men and/or women for the occasions listed below:
Birthday
Anniversary
Mother's Day
Thank You
Graduation
Father's Day
Sympathy
We also plan to categorize the verses by three main themes: Sentimental, Simple and Humorous.
Humorous greetings can range from playful sarcasm to clever quips, double entendres and creative jokes. Anything obscene or offensive will not be considered for publication.
Length:
Ideally, verses will be kept short with a maximum length of between three and five published lines.
Compensation:
We are offering a flat fee of $15 for each verse approved for publication. Prior to publication and the issuance of compensation, all writers might sign a Master License Agreement. All entries must be guaranteed to be original works with no prior copyrights. Plagiarism will not be tolerated.
Email Submissions:
Please write verses in the body of your email and send it to editor@tinyprints.com. We will NOT read verses sent in attachments or via website links. Be sure to include your name, address and telephone number as well as the category, theme and recipient you intended for each verse. Please also note if you've submitted the verse elsewhere for publication.

Include your name, address, email address and phone number on the back of each card, as well as the category, theme and recipient you intended for each verse.
